IQA Utilities Ltd is a specialist contractor operating in a niche market through distinct business units of Electrical Operations, Building Maintenance and Energy Assessors.
The Electrical team's workforce has attained ScottishPower Authorisation to OP3 and WI1 allowing them to complete a wide range of LV Distribution projects on ScottishPower's Network.
Projects undertaken include Network Reinforcement to multi-storey flats, earthing upgrades, new build LV installations, installation of mains isolator switches, LV minor connections and industrial and commercial LV new builds and upgrades.
The Electrical team is also unique in that it is the main service provider out of only 3 companies which supports ScottishPower in its business activities.
The Building Maintenance & Energy team supports the work carried out by the electrical team through its joiners. It also has its own clients covering property refurbishment and maintenance. The team also carries out energy efficiency audits in line with current legislation changes and completes this for Local Authorities, Housing Associations and private home owners.
Being members of GAS SAFE REGISTER, CORGI, SELECT, SFHA, BRE and the British Safety Council means that IQA staff receive up to date training to maintain and develop their expertise, thus offering top quality, professional services throughout the majority of mainland Scotland .
