IQA recently completed the reinforcement of 192 supplies at 2 Taylor Place, Glasgow.

The CDM project required careful planning and various factors had to be taken into account such as building structure with regards to hole coring, cabling routing, cable containment, and possible effects of voltage drop. Close consultation with ScottishPower and GHA ensured that the installation proposal was given approval for construction.

The project was completed over a six month period and was successfully changed over during 4 shutdowns comprising 48 flats per day.

All timber boxing in on the project was completed by our Building Maintenance Team.
