Crathie Court, Laurel Place, Glasgow

IQA recently completed the reinforcement of 89 supplies at Crathie Court, Laurel Place, Glasgow.

The CDM project required careful planning and various factors had to be taken into account such as building structure with regards to hole coring, cabling routing, cable containment, and possible effects of voltage drop. Close consultation with ScottishPower and GHA ensured that the installation proposal was given approval for construction.

The project was completed over a five month period and was successfully changed over during 1 shutdown when all flats were transferred in one day.

All timber boxing in on the project was completed by our Building Maintenance Team.
