IQA constantly monitor and assess the competency of their electrical operatives at regular intervals, this takes place in the instruction room at our head office in Paisley.

The operatives are tasked to complete a series of metering booths, and must demonstrate how to test polarity, earth loop impedance test and find a series of defects on pre-wired fault boards.

In addition, they have to complete written assessments based on the SP safety rules handbook and in line with the level of authorisation they currently hold.
